Veronica Mocanu (MD, Ph.D.) is a professor of Physiopathology and Eating Behavior at the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi, Romania. She is an endocrinologist specializing in the treatment of obesity and eating disorders. She is the coordinator of the [Traista cu sănătate] Healthy Traditions for Healthy Children Program, which was awarded by the European Commission with the award – EU Health Award 2020 for the best initiative at the community level (Iasi City) to promote a healthy lifestyle
